Links journalists chose to give you

Foundry is a UK link building agency that earns links through digital PR: real stories, data and expert comment that journalists, trade titles and local press choose to cover. We don't buy links, sell guest posts or use link networks, because Google's spam policies treat links bought to manipulate rankings as spam. Clients have been featured in The Times (BidScript) and on BBC Radio 2 (Backpedal). We're based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, and the work is priced on our time, fixed in writing after a short call.

Link building FAQs

  • No. Google's spam policies treat links bought to manipulate rankings as link spam. Every link we build is earned through coverage.

  • We don't promise a number, because earned links can't be guaranteed. We price on our time and report every placement.

  • Link building is the goal: more good sites linking to you. Digital PR is how we do it: stories journalists want to cover, which earn links and mentions as a result.

  • Coverage and mentions help, because assistants lean on search results and on sources they trust. A brand that's written about is easier to recommend.

  • Many news sites mark links nofollow. The coverage still brings readers, brand searches and mentions, so we count it, and we report which links are which.

  • Usually not. Google says most sites never need to. If you've bought links in the past, we'll look and advise.

  • It's priced on our time. We give you a fixed price in writing after a short call.
