AI visibility checker

Does AI name you? Check it yourself.

This AI visibility checker shows whether AI assistants name your business when buyers ask for what you do. Enter your business name, main service and area, and it gives you a fixed set of buyer prompts to run yourself in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot.

Tick where you were named, and it gives you a score and next steps. It runs in your browser, and nothing is sent to us.

How the AI visibility checker works

Five steps, and you stay in control of every one. You ask the assistants, the checker keeps score.

  2. 2

    Get your prompts

The checker writes a fixed set of questions a buyer might ask, built from your details.

  3. 3

    Ask each assistant

Paste each prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, in a fresh chat each time.

  4. 4

    Record the answer

Tick whether your business was named in each answer.

  5. 5

Answers vary by person, location, account history and day, so treat this as a snapshot, not a ranking. Use a fresh chat for each prompt and repeat the check every month to see the trend.

Why do you run the prompts yourself?

Because asking the assistants the way a buyer would is the most honest check. A website can't sit in ChatGPT's app for you, and answers from developer tools don't always match what a buyer sees.

Answers also vary. Location, memory, earlier chats and the exact wording all play a part, so your results may differ from a colleague's, and from one day to the next. That's why the prompts stay the same: run them again next month and you can see what's changed.

How to read your AI visibility score

Your score is the share of prompts where your business was named, across the assistants you tested. It's a snapshot of today, not a ranking.

  • Named nowhere: assistants can't find or check you yet. Start with the facts on your site and crawler access.
  • Named by some assistants: look at which ones. Gaps in ChatGPT and Copilot often point to Bing. Gaps in Gemini often point to Google.
  • Named often: keep the prompts and run them monthly. Work on reviews and comparison lists to hold your place.

Is my information private?

Yes. The checker runs in your browser. Your business name, service, area and answers are not sent to us or anyone else. The only place your prompts go is the assistants you choose to paste them into.

What to do if AI doesn't name you

Work from your own site outwards. Most gaps come from missing facts, blocked crawlers or listings that disagree.

  • Put your facts in plain text.Services, "from" prices, location, turnaround and how to start, near the top of each service page.
  • Let AI search crawlers in.Check robots.txt and your firewall allow OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Googlebot and Bingbot.
  • Set up Bing.Bing Webmaster Tools and Bing Places. ChatGPT search and Copilot lean on Bing.
  • Make your listings agree. The same name, address and phone number on Google, Bing, Clutch and your sector's directories.
  • Ask for reviews. They decide close calls between similar businesses.

AI visibility checker FAQs

  • Yes. No sign-up and no email needed.

  • The checker runs in your browser on a static page, so it can't log in to assistants for you. Asking them yourself also shows you exactly what a buyer would see.

  • Answers change with location, memory, earlier chats and wording, and from day to day. Use a fresh chat each time and compare like with like.

  • Once a month, with the same prompts, so you can see the trend rather than one day's answer.

  • Not always. You can rank well in Google and still be missing from AI answers, for example if Bing doesn't know you or your prices aren't on the page.
