A website speed optimisation service that fixes the cause
Not another plug-in on top
Foundry's website speed optimisation service finds what's slowing your site down and fixes it at the source: heavy images, too many scripts and apps, slow plugins, poor hosting and layouts that jump as they load. We measure against Google's Core Web Vitals using real visitor data where it exists, make the fixes and show you the before and after. We work on most platforms, including sites we didn't build, from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. Every job is a fixed price in writing after a short call.

Core Web Vitals fix: the three numbers that matter
Core Web Vitals are Google's measures of how a page feels to real visitors: how fast it loads, how quickly it reacts and how steady it stays.
LCP: loading
How long the main content takes to appear. Google calls 2.5 seconds or less good. Usually fixed with lighter images, better hosting and less render-blocking code.
INP: responsiveness
How fast the page reacts to a tap or click. Google calls 200 milliseconds or less good. Usually fixed by cutting heavy scripts and tags.
CLS: stability
How much the layout jumps while loading. Google calls 0.1 or less good. Usually fixed by reserving space for images, ads and fonts.
What we usually fix
Most slow sites are slow for the same handful of reasons.
- Oversized imagesResized, compressed and served in modern formats, loading only when needed.
- Script and tag pile-upOld tracking tags, chat widgets and app scripts removed or loaded later.
- Plugins and appsThe heavy ones found and replaced, or removed if nobody uses them.
- FontsFewer font files, loaded so text shows straight away.
- Hosting and cachingPages cached and served from close to your visitors, or moved to faster hosting.
- Theme codeBloated themes trimmed, and layout shifts fixed in the template.
If the platform itself is the bottleneck, we'll tell you, and show what a rebuild in fast code would change.

Website speed optimisation FAQs
Usually oversized images, too many scripts and plugins, a heavy theme or slow hosting. We measure first, so we fix the real cause rather than guessing.
Google's three measures of page experience: Largest Contentful Paint (loading), Interaction to Next Paint (responsiveness) and Cumulative Layout Shift (stability).
Google uses Core Web Vitals as part of page experience in its ranking systems, but relevant content matters more. The bigger cost of a slow site is usually visitors who leave before it loads.
It depends on the site and the platform. We give you a fixed price in writing after a short call.
Usually, yes. We'll look first and tell you honestly if a rebuild would be cheaper than patching.
The lab test runs a fresh simulated load each time, so scores move a little. The field data, from real Chrome users over the last 28 days, is the steadier guide.
New plugins, apps and tags slow sites down again over time. Our care plans include a monthly speed check so it's caught early.
