B2B cold email that books meetings
Tight lists, plain emails, protected domains
Foundry is a UK cold email agency that runs B2B cold email for companies with a clear buyer: we research the list, write short emails a person would actually send, set up separate sending domains so your main domain stays protected, and pass warm replies to you the same day. Every list is checked against the UK rules on electronic marketing, PECR and UK GDPR, as the ICO explains them. We're based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, and price campaigns at a fixed monthly fee agreed after a short call.

What's in our B2B cold email service
Cold email works when a short, relevant message reaches the right person's inbox. Each part below is there to make that happen.
The right buyer
Job titles, sectors, company size and the triggers that make now a good time.
Researched lists
Built and checked by hand, not scraped and blasted.
Protected domains
Separate sending domains, authenticated and warmed, never your main one.
Emails a person wrote
Short, specific and plain. AI helps with research; a person writes and checks every email.
Follow-ups
A few polite follow-ups, then we stop.
Replies handled
Warm replies sent to you the same day; opt-outs actioned straight away.
Cold email and the UK rules
How we read the ICO's guidance
In short: the ICO's guidance treats emails to companies differently from emails to individuals, and we build every list around that difference.
Under PECR, the ICO says you can send B2B marketing emails to corporate subscribers, such as limited companies and LLPs, without their prior consent, as long as you say who you are and give a simple way to opt out.
Sole traders and some partnerships count as individual subscribers, which PECR treats like consumers, so they generally need to have agreed to hear from you. We take them out of cold lists.
A named work email is still personal data under UK GDPR. We record why we're contacting each person, tell them where we got their details, and stop the moment anyone asks.
This is how we run campaigns, not legal advice. If you're unsure about your own case, read the ICO's guidance or ask a solicitor.
Outbound email that lands in the inbox
Deliverability decides whether anyone reads your email. We set it up before the first send.
- Separate domainsLookalike sending domains, so your main domain's reputation is never at risk.
- AuthenticationSPF, DKIM and DMARC set up, which the big inbox providers now expect.
- Warm-up and sensible volumesNew inboxes warmed before they send, and daily volumes kept low.
- Plain emailsFew links, no heavy images, and an easy way to opt out.
- Clean listsAddresses verified, so bounces don't damage your sending reputation.

Cold email FAQs
The ICO's guidance says B2B marketing emails to corporate subscribers, such as limited companies, don't need prior consent under PECR, as long as you identify yourself and offer an opt-out. Sole traders and some partnerships are treated like consumers. UK GDPR applies to named work emails too. This isn't legal advice.
Not the way we run it. We send from separate, authenticated domains and warmed inboxes, never your main one.
As many as the list deserves and no more. We keep daily volumes low per inbox to protect deliverability, and agree the list size with you.
A person. AI helps with research; every email is written, edited and checked by one of us.
Yes. Our outbound service runs cold email and LinkedIn outreach together.
It depends on the list and the offer, so we don't quote a benchmark. Tighter lists usually get more replies.
We agree a fixed monthly price in writing after a short call.
